There is no “I” in Team. The G.I. Renegade Rollerz are dedicated to providing an opportunity for women athletes to achieve their maximum potential, athletically, intellectually, and socially through the sport of roller derby. Through intensive training, competitive activities and community involvement, the G.I. Renegade Rollerz strive to embody specific core values including hard work, motivation, perseverance, respect for cultural diversity and continuous personal development. Our members are proud to be positive role models for youth by displaying a sense of good sportsmanship, personal integrity and ethical conduct.
The G.I. Renegade Rollerz is an all women's flat track roller derby league founded by committed, loyal, team players. The league was formed in October 2009 from a bunch of Kauai renegade derby chicks that were Diva Misfits. We practice backyard style at community basketball courts, tennis courts, driveways, and garages. If we can tape it we can skate it. We have two teams for inter-league play: Buck’n Fitches and HI-Rollerz. G.I. Renegade Rollerz is a non-profit organization. Our goal is to promote a positive attitude with a focus on female empowerment and strive to remain a positive influence in our communities. We, as skaters, strive to develop the skills necessary to compete within the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). G.I. Renegade Rollerz are committed derby chicks and intend to meet all WFTDA membership requirements with class.
